THE STRATEGY
The aim was to develop an experience that was both engaging and highlighted the advanced features in the new IsoDynamic seats in the 2024 Tacoma. By replicating the real-world benefits of the new features in a fun driving simulator while enhancing consumer understanding we deepen customer appreciation for the product and brand.
This strategic blend of physical and digital experiences makes the IsoDynamic Performance Seats more accessible and memorable, driving consumer engagement and interest in the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro.

THE CHALLENGES
The initial budget allowed for an array of advanced builds and innovative ideas for the simulator experience, aiming to transcend the traditional screen-and-game setup. However, after a budget revision, compromises were necessary. Despite the constraints, the team remained committed to creating a deeply immersive experience. Through meticulous selection of colors, materials, and finishes, we crafted an environment that not only met our criteria but also captured the attention of attendees, maintaining the essence and impact of the original vision while playing tribute to the original Ivan Stewart’s Off-Road video game.

THE TAKEAWAY
The IsoDynamic Seat Simulator highlighting the innovative technology in the new 2024 Tacoma, featuring a six-degree-of-freedom setup, effectively showcasing the comfort and stability of the IsoDynamic seats, especially over rough terrain. This innovative display, developed in partnership with Toyota Connected, allowed users to experience the seat’s capabilities through a dynamic, high-speed off-road course simulation. The inclusion of realistic audio effects, in collaboration with JBL, further enhanced the immersive experience, making it not just informative but also engaging and fun.
